The City Political Economy Research Centre (CITYPERC) is running an online public seminar on the financial implications of covid-19.

How has Covid-19 affected the power of finance? New research by Photis Lysandrou argues that the pandemic has reinforced key aspects of financialisation, including the colonisation of the future and the perpetuation of a global core-periphery divide. Join CITYPERC to discuss these ideas and some of their policy implications, including a call for a global wealth tax.
