Melissa Kennedy is Professor of English Culture and Literature at the Pädagogische Hochschule Oberösterreich and Privatdozentin at the University of Vienna. Her work brings critiques of economic inequality, precarity, wealth and poverty to narrative analysis. Her publications include a recent monograph, Narratives of Inequality: Postcolonial Literary Economics (Palgrave, 2017), a co-edited collection with Helga Ramsey-Kurz, Uncommon Wealths in Postcolonial Fiction (Brill, 2017), and with Janet Wilson a co-edited Special Issue of Interventions, “All that Glitters Is Not Gold: Pacific Critiques of Globalization” Vol.19.7 (2017).
